Welcome to Publi.sh! Once you've created a feed you can easily post new items by visiting this page, which is also linked to from the feed title in your feed reader. We recommend grabbing the quick post bookmarklet for your browser...this just makes posting super easy.
A few other things to be aware of:
- Only the latest 15 items will be displayed in your feed. As you add new items, the older ones get pushed off the end. Keep this in mind as you post items to be published on future dates.
- If posting by email you can send HTML formatted emails and the formatting should be carried through to your feed (including any links). To link the title of an emailed post you must use the following format in the email subject line: [url=http://www.somepage.com]Your Item Title[/url]. This format will be converted by the system into your post title and link in the feed. The format is standard bbcode.
- If you want to delete your feed just unsubscribe. Any feed not accessed for 14 consecutive days is automatically deleted.
- Publi.sh is probably not a good place to publish sensitive information as the feeds are not password protected. Also note that if you want to keep your feed private be careful when using web based aggregators like Bloglines and be sure to mark them as 'private'
- Once you've read this introductory item you can easily delete it from your feed.
